What is Ketamine-Assisted Therapy?

Ketamine-assisted therapy (KAP) combines the powerful, consciousness-expanding effects of ketamine with expert therapeutic guidance. It’s more than just an infusion—it’s a full-spectrum healing process.

At our clinic, here’s what KAP looks like:

  • You’ll meet with a trained therapist for preparation sessions to set goals, identify roadblocks, and establish safety

  • You’ll receive IV ketamine infusions under the care of a board-certified anesthesiologist at their office, with the option of therapeutic support.

  • You’ll return for integration therapy to process what arose, anchor insights, and build momentum toward healing

We partner with a board-certified anesthesiologist who administers ketamine at his medical clinic. Our role is to provide the expert therapeutic support—before and after your sessions—to ensure the experience leads to meaningful, lasting change.

“I’d heard of psychedelics and wondered if a journey could give me the peace and closure I needed. And boy did it. It’s like the feelings just melted away. I could see who my wife really was, and I was overcome with love. It’s like everything we’d been working on in therapy just clicked into place finally. Fully. It felt like a whole new start with a clean slate. “

Ketamine Infusion Therapy in Las Vegas

Many people have tried everything to overcome depression, PTSD, or anxiety through traditional treatments. And now, there is growing research that ketamine therapy can help! Ketamine therapy is showing strong results, even for those with treatment-resistant depression.

According to a recent study, 55% of those who received ketamine treatment found improvement in depressive symptoms.

There is some evidence that psychedelics, like ketamine, may be useful in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). These findings are promising for the future of treating trauma and doing trauma work as a whole.

The way we approach mental health is changing and conventional treatments aren’t the only solution. Ketamine treatment can help many on their journey to healing, relief, and peace.

What Is a Ketamine Journey Like?

Every experience is unique, but many describe ketamine journeys as deeply calming, insight-rich, and emotionally vivid.

In a typical session:

  • You’ll wear eye shades and listen to a curated music playlist

  • You may see bright colors, feel dreamlike sensations, or gain insight into long-standing emotional patterns

  • You remain conscious, but enter a dissociative state that allows you to observe thoughts and emotions with more clarity and less judgment

Most people emerge with a sense of deep peace, clarity, and relief. It’s common to describe the session as “hard to explain—but profoundly helpful.”

What If I’m Nervous About a “Bad Trip”?

Ketamine is not a classic psychedelic, and in a clinical setting, it’s extremely well-tolerated. Most clients experience the journey as calming and emotionally illuminating—not frightening.

Occasionally, you may encounter challenging or intense material, but that’s often where the healing begins. Our team is trained to support you through any emotional discomfort that arises and help you make meaning of what you experience.

What we’ve found is: with the right set (your mindset), the right setting (a clinic run by highly skilled professionals), and the right support (our licensed therapists), most clients feel safe, grounded, and even transformed—regardless of how intense the experience is.

Additionally, ketamine has a rapid onset and a rapid taper. If at any point the experience is too “intense” the medicine can be adjusted within minutes.
